What it is
Scholars and craftspeople have kept commonplace books for centuries: not an archive, but a working tool. You copy in what governs your practice, what you've agreed to, what has happened and what it led to. The entries are organized for use rather than display. When someone needs to understand the whole, they open the book.
RegenHub's Commonplace Book is that practice carried into cooperative life. It holds the authoritative state of the cooperative: who the members are, what agreements bind them, what events have taken place, and what each person's share of the work and the results amounts to. Every figure can be traced to the events that produced it. Every rule can be traced to the governing document that established it. Nothing is hidden behind a decision no one can follow back to its source.
The book is not an app for doing the work. It is the layer that remembers what has been done — so that the next question has an honest answer, and the next member doesn't have to ask.

Read every agreement that binds them, with version and standing marked. Sign the membership agreement and see the signature recorded. Appear in the member directory with a profile they control. Complete onboarding without a meeting.
