What this cooperative collects from the people who use techne.coop, what it does with it, and what it will not do with it. Plainly: an account email, whatever a member chooses to put in their own profile, a phone number only if a member binds one, and the record of that member's own participation. Nothing here is sold, rented, or handed to anyone else for their marketing.

Who this policy is for and who it binds
The entity behind this website is RegenHub, LCA, a Colorado limited cooperative association formed February 6, 2026 by filing Articles of Organization with the Colorado Secretary of State, document 20261163853. On August 12, 2026 the association filed a Statement of Trade Name of a Reporting Entity with the Colorado Secretary of State, document 20268011137, under C.R.S. §§ 7-71-103 and 7-71-107. The registered trade name is techne.coop, and this site presents itself as Techne. The true name of the entity remains RegenHub, LCA, and RegenHub, LCA is who this policy binds.
The website is techne.coop. This policy covers that website and the member-facing services reached through it. It does not cover any other site linked from here, which carries its own terms.
What we collect
Only what a person gives us or what their own use of the service produces. There is no purchase of data about anyone from anybody.
Account email. An email address is required to hold an account, because it is how an account is identified and how account notices reach the person who holds it.
Profile fields the member supplies. A display name, and whatever else a member chooses to write about themselves. Every field of this kind is the member's to fill, leave blank, edit, or empty later.
A phone number, only when a member binds one. A phone number is collected only if a member voluntarily binds a number to their own profile. It is not asked for at signup and no part of the service is withheld for want of one. The terms governing it are in the text messaging section below.
Records of the member's own participation. What a member did here: what they posted, joined, contributed, or was credited for. A cooperative is an account of participation, so those records are the substance of the service rather than a byproduct of it.
Ordinary technical records. The logs a web service and its hosting providers keep in order to run and secure the service, such as request logs and error reports.
How it is used
To operate accounts: to sign a member in, to identify them to other members as they have chosen to be identified, and to keep the record of their participation.
To send account notices the member is due or has asked for.
To answer a member when they write to us, including by text if they texted us.
To keep the service working and secure, and to diagnose faults.
To meet the cooperative's obligations under law and under its own governing instruments, including the records a cooperative must keep about its members.
Service providers who process data on the cooperative's behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, and messaging carriers, receive only what they need to perform that function and may use it for nothing else.
What we do not do
We do not sell you or rent you out
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for those third parties' own marketing purposes. We do not trade member lists. There is no advertising network on this site collecting a profile of a visitor for someone else.
And specificallyMobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Personal information is disclosed outside the cooperative only in three circumstances: to the service providers described above, acting on our instructions; when the member asks us to; and when the law requires it of us.
Text messaging (SMS)
These are the terms that govern text messaging in this service. They are stated here so that they govern from the moment the feature exists rather than being written after the fact.
How a number is collected
A phone number enters this service in exactly one way: a member voluntarily binds a number to their own profile and confirms it by entering a one-time code sent to that number. No number is collected from any other source, and no member can bind a number to anyone's account but their own. A member may unbind their number at any time, which removes it from the profile.
What messages are sent
Text messages are sent only in reply to a message the member sent us, or as account notifications the member has opted into. There are no promotional or marketing text campaigns. Message frequency varies, because messages follow what a member does rather than a schedule.
Cost, help, and stopping
Message and data rates may apply, at the rates set by the member's own mobile carrier.
Message frequency varies.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. This ends the messages and unbinds the number from the profile.
Reply HELP for help. A member can also reach us at the address in the contact section below.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The one thing we will never do with a number
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. A number is used to carry the messages described above and for nothing else. Messaging carriers and the messaging platform that delivers the traffic handle the number solely to deliver those messages.
Status of this section: the phone-binding flow described here is not yet built. This section states the policy that governs the service, and it is published in advance of the feature so that no number can be collected under any looser terms than these. When the flow ships, it ships to this policy.
What a member can do about it
See and edit the profile fields they supplied.
Unbind a phone number, by replying STOP or from the profile once that control exists.
Ask for a copy of the personal information held about them.
Ask for correction of anything inaccurate.
Close an account and ask for deletion of personal information. The cooperative may retain what its governing instruments or the law require it to keep, and will say what that is when asked.
Requests of this kind go to the contact address below.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If we learn that we hold personal information from a child under 13, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the changed page carries a new effective date, and the change is visible in the public history of this site, which is a public repository. A change that materially affects text messaging will be described to members holding a bound number before it takes effect.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request under the section above, go to privacy@techne.coop.
No physical mailing address is published here. The cooperative's premises are not settled, and this estate does not publish a claim it cannot stand behind on the day it is read.
Status
RegenHub, LCA has been called to order: its board is seated, its officers are in office, and its governing instruments are board-adopted, with member ratification anticipated and no member yet admitted. This policy is therefore a description of current practice and of the terms the cooperative holds itself to now, adopted as the operating policy of the website. It is not one of the governing instruments, and nothing in it amends or interprets any of them. Where this page and an instrument disagree, the instrument governs. The instruments and their statuses are on the legal foundation.
