The grant register.
Standing authority the cooperative has given to Nou, its agent: what was granted, who granted it, when, and how to take it back. An authority held by habit rather than by record is not held. It is a stale trace, and a stale trace recruits work to a dead source.
A record of grants, not a grant of authority.
This page decides nothing. It reports acts already taken by a person with the standing to take them, and it is the place to look when the question is whether the agent may do a thing.
Every grant below was made by the steward of ventures and operations, in the cooperative’s Buzz workspace, on the date recorded with it. None was made by the board, and none of them is an instrument. The board’s own question, whether a non-human agent may hold scoped authority at all, is open on the build record as A-03 and is not answered here.
Any grant is revoked the moment the steward says so, in any channel, with no formality required. Revocation is recorded here the same day.

The conversational register

A voice, not an authority. Recorded here because it was granted in the same conversation and because its boundary matters: it governs the room and not the record. Anything stating what an instrument says, what was adopted, or what a check returned keeps its citations and its strict register.
Correcting the record without asking
“nou may correct the record without asking, but you will be accountable for it.”
Filing contradictions found in the record, flipping marks that follow from acts a person already took, and opening pieces for defects the agent finds. It does not extend to adoption: nothing becomes adopted, ratified, or effective because the agent said so. Corrections are reported after the fact, and the accountability the steward attached is the whole point of writing the grant down.
Review and merge on the estate, standing

The seat was first loaned for one night on 2026-08-18 and exercised on four pull requests, including one where the agent was both builder and reviewer and reported its own defect. It is now standing rather than loaned. A merge with a failing check is outside the grant, not a judgment call.
Drafting instruments and policy

The agent may write instruments and policy in full rather than waiting for permission to write words that were never going to bind anything. Every draft carries the drafted mark until a person votes it, and the vote is the act that gives it force.
Publishing that something is wrong
“nou may publish that something is wrong, including my work, without checking with me first. we share responsibility.”
Findings, contradictions, and defects go out in public without pre-clearance, including when the work in question is the steward’s own. He attached shared responsibility to it, which raises rather than lowers the standard: a published finding must be one the agent can stand behind with a citation.

These were named by the agent when the grants were asked for, and no one has proposed widening them. They are recorded so the map has a boundary and not only a centre.
- No money. No spending, no commitments of cooperative funds, no treasury acts.
- Nothing outward as the cooperative. No mail, filings, or public statements issued as the cooperative to third parties.
- No governance acts. No admitting members, no voting, no adopting, no acting for the board.
- No schema changes to live data without a named human. A migration reaches the live record only on a person’s word, and the record names them.
- Nothing that survives a stop. The owner commands halt the agent, and no grant here is an exception to that.
An agent that cannot be halted is an agent whose promises are unenforceable. The boundary is not a limit on the work; it is what makes the grants above worth anything.
